Pisgah National Forest

One of the greatest treasures in the community is Pisgah National Forest.  On this job, we were able to survey a small lot that adjoined Forest Service property.  The beauty of surveying near the National Forest is that the corners are usually well monumented and easy to find!  If your corners are anything but well monumented and easy to find, call us today and we can rectify that problem!

Crest Mountain – Asheville, NC

Very neat project developing in the West Asheville area.  Modern construction stakeout methods allow the contractor and developer to build roads and install utilities so as to create new lots and allow individuals to build their dream home here in gorgeous Western North Carolina.

Wolf Laurel

What a difference a season makes.  Usually when we see this view, we are on a snowboard, carving our way to the bottom!  Surveying here in the summer gives you another perspective and reminds us of how fortunate we are to live and work here in beautiful Western North Carolina.

. . . and Bears, Oh My!!

What’s interesting about this picture is that it is right in the middle of beautiful, historic Flat Rock, NC.  This momma bear and cubs definitely have the “right-of-way” when it comes to their territory.  We will gladly let them pass on through before we finish up this survey!

If you have a right-of-way issue or easement problem, call us today and we can help you find a bear-able solution.

Sttteeeeepppppp!

This lot is literally perched on Lake Lure and it’s steep!  We did a topographic survey and the elevation dropped nearly 200 feet from front to back!  But, that sort of elevation change makes for magnificent views as you can see here.

Four Seasons

This time of year, we love our job!  Western North Carolina is home to some of the prettiest leaves in the country in our opinion.  This tree was found in a West Asheville subdivision and we couldn’t help but take a minute to admire it!

Delicate Perch!

Be careful Andrew!!  This steep lot in West Asheville made it difficult to lay this Deltec home out for footings.  We had to perch on the side of the basement cut so as to be able to see the footings!  We’ll do what it takes to get the job done!

West Asheville sunrise

A gorgeous sunrise at a premier West Asheville subdivision is pictured here.  We had to get up early to get some sewer lines staked for construction and this view made it all worthwhile!

Beautiful Lake Lure

This picture illustrates why we love to survey!  You don’t find views like this one everyday.  We took a minute to admire the view as we were marking property lines on this Lake Lure home site.
